ALGORRI INTERPRETATION CENTRE

It is an interpretation centre of a special natural landscape, the cliffs of Zumaia and the tidal platform. It disseminates and explains about the privileged nature that surrounds Zumaia. The tidal platform; the flysch the most important fossiliferous deposits of Europe; the holm oak forests of Artadi; marshes and dunes...
The Centre has two floors where apart from the ample exhibition space it also has an auditorium for the display of screenings and multimedia documents or for holding conferences. Archive and documentation rooms as well as classrooms for workshops. It also offers various educational programs in order to adapt to the demands and interests of different groups.

March to June and September to November:

  • Tuesday to Friday: 10:00-13:30 / 16:00-18:30
  • Saturday: 10:00-13:30 / 16:00-19:30
  • Sunday: 10:00-13:30

January, February and December:

  • Thursday and Friday: 10:00-13:30 / 16:00-18:30
  • Saturday: 10:00-13:30 / 16:00-19:30
  • Sunday: 10:00-13:30

July and August:

  • Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00-13:30 / 16:00-19:30

Tickets:

  • General Ticket: 3 €
  • Discounted ticket (Retired persons, children below 18 years, groups above 15 people, residents of Zumaia: 1,5 €
  • Entry free: children below 6 years, unemployed persons.
  • Guided tours: 50 €/group (+ entry ticket). Duration: 1 Hour.
